What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second most common active ingredient in the hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa). It reduces far-reaching physical as well as mental stress symptoms in humans and animals (all mammals). In contrast to the active ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD has no intoxicating effect. Overdosing with CBD is practically impossible. Even the WHO (World Health Organization) has declared that it is safe to take CBD. In other words, when taking CBD, you can be sure that you will not cause any adverse effects. Since CBD has no psychoactive compounds, it will not get you high. In addition, CBDactive Oil is free from THC and therefore 100% legal to purchase and consume in Germany.

CBD oil extraction is a complex process

In order to make the cannabidiol with its valuable properties available, very expensive and time-consuming processes are strung together for the extraction. This serves, on the one hand, to meet the strict official requirements for hemp processing under legal conditions and, on the other hand, to serve the high quality standards of the industry and in particular of the users. Since its potential uses became known, cannabidiol has massively gained in popularity and reputation. When using conventional medical treatment, some of which are accompanied by severe side effects, cannabidiol could offer great and unbeatable added value for users. Since, among other things, the active ingredient CBD has unfortunately been pushed into the illegal drug corner for so long due to prohibition, not all possible applications with CBD or other selected cannabinoids are known due to this delay caused by artificial or lobbying. By the way, thank your government, which today still wants to make access to CBD practically impossible (at the insistence of certain stakeholders). At the moment there are still countless studies that deal with the use of CBD for medical treatment and new and fascinating findings come to light almost every month - which, by the way, gives the pharmaceutical industry a blow to the stomach again and again.

You may already know people who have used CBD oil and have told you about it. CBD oils are popular because they are absorbed relatively quickly on the mucous membrane under the tongue and therefore work quickly. CBD has many advantages that should not be underestimated, the quality of which has already been substantiated by various studies. It is important to note that many of these studies were carried out in vitro (outside the body) or were of a preclinical nature (preclinical = scientifically required testing of an active substance prior to use in humans, e.g. on cell culture, etc.). The chemical antioxidant properties of the CBD molecule as well as its anti-epileptic properties have come into focus in the scientific literature. While research into the effects of CBD on certain conditions is important, a broader perspective on the relationship between CBD and the human body is necessary to understand how this unique connection works. One of the main implications of CBD is how it interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is responsible for determining the basic activity level of our immune and nervous systems, which can then contribute to maintaining our health. If the ECS is out of whack, the systems it controls can be prone to malfunction. So CBD is a "building block" that is used by the ECS to enable normal health and function of the ECS. If these components are missing, these processes are disrupted.

How are CBD products formulated?

CBD or cannabidiol is one of around 200 cannabinoids that are only found in the hemp plant. CBD is produced from the leaves and flowers of female hemp plants. Hemp is defined as all cannabis plants with less than 0.2% THC. Because hemp has such low levels of THC, it is by definition not psychoactive. While CBD can be extracted from non-hemp varieties of the plant, CBD from hemp is less restricted by law, as it naturally does not contain THC - due to the subsequent separation of the substances. CBD from industrial hemp is 100% legal in Germany and does not fall under the Narcotics Act, while CBD products that come from non-hemp varieties can contain considerable amounts of THC and are therefore subject to stricter laws and regulations (BTM). CBD and other cannabinoids are produced by the hemp plant due to their unique aromatic and antioxidant activities that protect the plant from insects, fungi, bacteria and changes in the environment. The term CBD oil refers to CBD-infused products that contain hemp extract with high CBD content suspended in an oily base, e.g. B. Coconut oil, hemp seed oil or another oil derived from plants. Oils taken sublingually are ideal as they allow for rapid absorption of CBD through the membrane under your tongue directly into the user's bloodstream. The CBD effect becomes apparent after a short time. CBD oils are available in both low and high concentrations. Pipettes integrated in the cap make it easier to give the correct dose. CBD hemp oils are the most popular type of CBD products because they are easy to use and work quickly and effectively.

How Much CBD Should I Take?

While most dietary supplements have a well-defined and recommended dose, CBD is different. The amount of CBD you take depends on your doctor's recommendations and your own tolerance, as well as how CBD works for you. However, you should follow our daily recommendation for the respective percentage strength. There are different types of CBD-infused products that are consumed in different ways for different purposes. The most popular and effective type of CBD products are sublingual CBD oils and tinctures, which contain CBD that is formulated in an oily base so that it can be dripped under the tongue. These products are ideal for rapid absorption and high bioavailability.

The benefits of taking CBD oil: High bioavailability and quick support. Enjoy the high bioavailability by taking your CBD in the form of our oils. Bioavailability is your body's ability to ingest and use a particular dietary supplement. Experience a quick onset of action by putting a few drops of CBD oil under your tongue and allowing it to work in the mouth for around 60 seconds before swallowing it. When you apply these hemp-derived oils under your tongue, the tissue there absorbs the CBD into your bloodstream. CBD cooperates with the functioning of your endocannabinoid system (ECS). Your ECS is a system of receptors that span your entire body. It plays an important role, for example in maintaining homeostasis. Homeostasis is the optimal balance between the natural rhythms of your body. Although your body makes its own cannabinoids, the quantities produced may be too small, so taking natural CBD supplements will help you.
